Author Visit:

On Thursday 10th October, Simon Philip came to visit Southsea Infant School. The children thoroughly enjoyed meeting a real life author and were keen to listen to Simon share some of his latest creations. The children were given the opportunity to learn about Simon's journey as an author, which they found extremely interesting. At the end of the visit, the children were able to purchase one of Simon's books and have it signed personally by himself. A copy of each book was purchased for our school library. Mrs Hall put them on display in the library before school and by lunch-time on the same day, there was only one book left. Needless to say, the children have been inspired by Simon's work!
